Salary

• A/B (STCW II/5) – 3400 USD/Month
• A/B (STCW II/4) – 3000 USD/Month

Requirements

• Valid STCW documents
• National Seamans book
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proven experience as AB on oil tankers or similar vessels.
• Comprehensive knowledge of deck and navigational operations, cargo handling, and safety procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Good knowledge of English language

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on deck machinery and equipment, including winches, cranes, hydraulics, and other relevant systems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Execute various deck operations specific to Oil tankers
• Watchkeeping
• Perform routine maintenance on deck equipment, life-saving appliances, safety gear
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations

Working Conditions

• This position is based onboard a Malta-flagged Oil Tanker engaged in cabotage operations in Italian waters.
• The work schedule follows a rotating watch system and involves extended periods at sea.
