Requirements
- Previous experience as a baker, especially in offshore or maritime environments, is often preferred.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as food safety and hygiene certificates is essential.
- Good health and physical fitness
- Ability to work well within a team, as the baker collaborates closely with other crew members in the galley.
- Effective communication is crucial for understanding and fulfilling the dietary needs and preferences of the crew.
- Being able to adapt to the challenges of working in a dynamic offshore setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts for the crew, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Collaborate with the galley team to plan a diverse and appealing menu that includes baked goods.
- Monitor and manage baking supplies, ensuring an adequate stock of flour, yeast, and other necessary items.
- Ensure that baked goods meet quality standards and adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Keep the bakery area clean and well-maintained, following strict sanitation practices to prevent contamination.
- Work closely with other galley staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure a smooth flow of operations.
