Requirements

Previous experience in laundry department in offshore or maritime environments, is preferred.
Basic certifications or training in hospitality, housekeeping, or relevant areas is required.
Good health and physical fitness.
Completion of relevant OPITO training.
Ability to work well within a team to ensure smooth operations.
Good communication to understand and fulfill the preferences of the crew.
Understanding and adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out laundry services for the crew, including washing, drying, and ironing of clothes and linens.
Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring that it functions properly.
Monitor the laundry supplies and assist Campboss in managing and ensuring an adequate stock of detergents and other necessary items.
Ensure that laundry services meet quality standards and that the crew’s clothing and linens are well-maintained.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry equipment and chemicals.
Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages of laundry supplies promptly to the Supervisor.
