Key Responsibilities
- Full command and responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the CTV.
- Execute efficient and precise maneuvers during crew transfers, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew.
- Plan and oversee navigation routes, considering weather conditions, sea state, and other relevant factors.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and guidelines for safe navigation.
- Enforce and adhere to strict safety protocols, including emergency procedures, life-saving equipment checks, and safety drills.
- Conduct regular safety briefings for crew and passengers.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with crew members, offshore installations, and relevant authorities.
- Report navigational hazards, incidents, and accidents promptly.
- Lead and manage the vessel crew, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs to ensure the seaworthiness of the CTV.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for mechanical and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory record-keeping requirements.
