Salary

  • Oiler (STCW III/5) – 3400 USD/Month
  • Wiper (STCW III/4)- 3000 USD/Month

Requirements

  • Valid STCW documents
  • National Seamans book
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Proven experience as Wiper on oil tankers or similar vessels.
  • Basic knowledge of engine room machinery and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Physical fitness for demanding tasks in the engine room.
  • Good knowledge of English language

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance & repair and cleaning of machinery and engine room equipment, including pumps, valves, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Assisting the engineering team with equipment repairs and maintenance, as well as other tasks as directed.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized engine room.

Working Conditions

  • This position is based onboard a Malta-flagged Oil Tanker engaged in cabotage operations in Italian waters.
  • The work schedule follows a rotating watch system and involves extended periods at sea.
