Job Summary

Skilled Painters to join our team onboard Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO-RO) vessel undergoing repairs in Netherlands Shipyard.




  • Valid STCW documents
  • National Seamans book
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Painter in a shipyard or maritime environment.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, and various painting techniques.
  • Familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and coatings.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a dynamic shipyard environment.
  • Physical fitness and stamina for tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and extended periods of standing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust, old paint, or other contaminants to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
  • Apply primers, paints, and coatings using various methods such as brushing, rolling, or spraying to protect surfaces from corrosion and enhance the vessel’s appearance.
  • Mask and tape off areas not intended for painting, ensuring accurate and neat application of coatings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during painting activities.

  • 4 Weeks On/Off Rotation
