Requirements

• Valid STCW documents
• National Seamans book
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proven experience as Pumpman on oil tankers or similar vessels.
• Proficiency in cargo and ballast systems, pump operation, and maintenance and safety regulation.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Good knowledge of English language.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading, discharging, and transfer of liquid cargo, ensuring proper and safe procedures are followed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cargo and ballast systems, pumps, and associated equipment.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Working Conditions

• This position is based onboard a Malta-flagged Oil Tanker engaged in cabotage operations in Italian waters.
• The work schedule follows a rotating watch system and involves extended periods at sea.
